I manage a rental or Airbnb. Which Prodillo smart lock is best for guests and cleaners?
Depending on your door locking system we offer various smart locks for allowing access to frequent guests and cleaners. If your door uses a deadbolt system, we recommend the S80 or the V Series smart deadlocks. If you use a mortise locking system we recommend the G2 smart lock.
I’m not very “techy.” I want a simple keyless entry upgrade, not a full smart home system. Is Prodillo a good fit?
Yes, Prodillo smart locks are not complicated to setup and/or use day to day. Once your smart lock is programmed with our compatible TT Lock mobile app, entry becomes as routine as entering with a physical key.
Which Prodillo lock is best if I have older parents or family members who struggle with keys?
The great thing about Prodillo smart locks is that no matter what age you are, once your fingerprint has been programmed into our TT Lock mobile app, all you need to do is press your index finger on the scanner to allow access. This is especially helpful for young children or elderly family members who may lose or struggle with traditional keys. All of our smart locks allow mobile alerts for monitoring entry.
Do Prodillo smart locks work for commercial storefront doors and apartments, or only houses?
All of our smart lock models will work for both interior and exterior home and apartment doors. Depending on the model, there are varying specs as to the compatible door depth/thickness and door material. For commercial storefront doors we recommend either the G2 smart lock or MS01 smart lock. Can I provide remote access to friends, family or service providers?
Yes, using the TT Lock mobile app you can send electonic PIN codes, add fingerprints, or give remote access.

Can I control Prodillo smart locks from my phone when I’m away from home?
Yes, you can control your Prodillo smart locks remotely from your phone with the TT Lock mobile app. Check and monitor entry logs, Simplify guest check-ins by sharing unlimited electronic keys, or timed passcodes, and Grant or revoke access to guests anytime and anywhere from your device.
Do I need WiFi for my smart lock to work?
Some Prodillo smart locks need WiFi for full remote access, but most work offline with fingerprints, passcodes, NFC cards or Bluetooth. Wi-Fi is only needed for features like app notifications or remote unlocking.
What backup options do I have if the batteries die or my phone is lost?
Prodillo smart locks will notify you as battery levels are running low either on the device itself or as a notification on your phone via the mobile app. We suggest changing the batteries in your smart lock every 10-12 months depending on usage.
If your smart lock batteries die, most models are equipped with a USB port to charge the smart lock for temporary access until the batteries are replaced. You can use a USB wall charger or portable battery. Each Prodillo smart lock also comes with 1-2 sets of backup traditional keys. We suggest keeping these in a safe and accessible place as a last resort option.
How weather-resistant are Prodillo smart locks for exterior doors?
Prodillo smart locks are built for extreme weather conditions including heavy rain, snow and dust. Each smart lock has either an IP65 or IP68 weather rating. IP ratings describe how well a device is sealed against dust and water. Both IP65 and IP68 share the same first digit “6”, which means they are completely dust‑tight and prevent dust ingress. The difference is in the second digit. With IP65, the “5” means the device is protected against low‑pressure water jets from any direction, so it can handle rain, splashes, and hose‑level spray but is not designed to be submerged in water. With IP68, the “8” means the device is protected for continuous immersion (30 minutes at around 1–1.5 m depth), so it can tolerate being underwater for extended periods, on top of being fully dust‑tight.
How difficult is installation? Can I install a Prodillo lock myself with basic tools?
Installation for Prodillo smart locks is fairly easy when installing or retro-fitting on residential-style doors. We recommend estimating about an hour for installation and setup, and it can usually be done with only a screwdriver.
Can Prodillo smart locks integrate with other smart home devices or platforms?
The Prodillo MS01, G2 and R3 models can be integrated with your Amazon Alexa or Google smart home devices.

Which countries or regions can I buy Prodillo smart locks and get them shipped?
You can purchase Prodillo products online directly from www.prodillo.com, on Amazon.com, or Internationally at select online retailers. How long does shipping take?
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders will typically deliver within 6-9 business days.

What is my tracking number?
This is how you will be able to track your order. Your tracking number is sent to you via email and will be available 2-3 days after your order is placed. Please reach out if you haven’t received your tracking number within 5 days after placing your order by contacting us.

How can I make changes to my order?
If you need to make changes to your order you will need to contact us within 12 hours of placing the order.

If you have second thoughts about your order, you must contact us within 12 hours of placing your order. We cannot cancel your order once it has already been shipped.
What is your warranty policy?
All of our products come with a standard 1 year manufacturer warranty. If there are any physical or functional defects with your product please contact us at support@prodillo.com.
